1. Cookies. When a user accesses and uses the Site, which may be hosted in part or its entirety by a third party, the Site will collect information indirectly and automatically (through, for example, the use of "cookies" or user's "IP address") about a user's activities. Croudace & Dietrich LLP uses this activity information (the "Access Information") for internal purposes (e.g., to administer the Site, improve the Site, and help Croudace & Dietrich understand how the Site is being used). "Cookies" are small pieces of information stored on a user's hard drive and not on the Site. Users are always free to decline cookies if a user's browser permits, but in that case, some portions of the Site may not operate properly. An "IP address" is a number that is automatically assigned to a user's computer when using the lnternet.
3. Removal of Personally Identifiable Information. Croudace & Dietrich LLP will use reasonable efforts to remove user's Personally Identifiable Information from the then-current Site at any time upon user's written request to firstname.lastname@example.org. Removal of Personally Identifiable Information cannot ensure the permanent removal of such Personally Identifiable Information from the Site. For example, such Personally Identifiable Information may remain in Croudace & Dietrich's archival or backup copies of the Site.
4. Additional Disclosure. Croudace & Dietrich may share Personally Identifiable Information with third parties, including affiliated firms and third parties performing services for or on behalf of Croudace & Dietrich LLP. Such services may include communications, database, event management, hosting and mailing services. Croudace & Dietrich LLP cannot fully ensure that user's Personally Identifiable Information will not be disclosed to third parties. For example, Croudace & Dietrich may be legally obligated to disclose information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, third parties may circumvent Croudace & Dietrich LLP's security measures to unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, or an error may occur in the administration of the Site. If Croudace & Dietrich LLP needs to investigate or resolve possible problems or inquiries, Croudace & Dietrich LLP may, and user authorizes Croudace & Dietrich LLP to, disclose any information about user to government officials as permitted by applicable law.
